What's the most worthless software you've ever encountered?

    for me, it would have to be the latest version of McAfee Internet Security.

    This pile of shit rendered my computer's customer unusable. It's "privacy guard" broke virtually every webpage out there, and managed to block not even the simplest of popups or provide a single tangible benefit. The "firewall" was worse than useless, and after i uninstalled it and installed plain old NAV, the puter booted up with a swap file 100 megs smaller :eek3:

    MacAfee Firewall fucked up my DSL for DAYS after I uinsatlled it. I took it back to office depot and they gave me my money back. The guy said "we don't take back opened software" I said "I should sue you guys for selling this, it totally fucked up my computer", and they took it back.

    sometime the simplest/free software that you can find on the net can do the best job

    i bought mcafee office (forgot the version) a couple years ago and couldnt even install it on my computer..crashes all the time, and when i finally got it to somewhat installed...i couldnt uninstall.....what a piece of shit
