Friday I was in a hurry to get a quick chest tri workout in before going to a football game. I normally lift with a partner but he couldnt make it for the earlier lift so I just worked in with some random on flat bench.

My 135 warmup was going great until I put it up for the tenth time. I looked to my left and THOUGHT I racked the bar... it was actually just sitting on the top of the "hook" (lifestyles machine with thick rubber hooks). Anyways, I didnt set the bar back up properly and when I pushed back with the right shoulder it came off the left side and came crashing down on me.

I was able to slow the weight enough to prevent any serious damage but It was still hooked on the right side and the diamond grip was shredding my nose bridge. Douchebag random was staring out at some chick in the parking lot listening to his ipod so he didnt even notice right away. :hsugh:

ANYWAYS, I realize how funny it is and can laugh about it since I wasn't injured but DAMN did I feel like a 2" clown with a bruised ego. That's my first accident in the gym but if I wouldn't have been such a dinkus and taken my time it never would have happened.

CLIFFS: Dropped 135 lbs on my face :hsd:

on chest supported rows i put my head down too far and hit my forehead with the plate as i brought it up

on the hack squat machine i put too many plates on by accident (miscalculated) and after the 2nd rep, my body just kept sliding forward and i couldnt push up and i ended up squishing myself :wtc:

Back when I first started going to the gym, I was struggling to rack the BB after my last set on a flat bench. Weight was probably rediculously light, maybe 150 pounds. :dunno:

A sorta-broly chick was walking by and WITH ONE HAND spotted me and essentially threw the BB up on the rack for me.

I was glad she was able to give me a spot, but was still very :hs: the rest of the day.
