A&P Whats the method that makes normal pictures look macro

    there was someone that took some pictures of a city and it made them look like miniatures and posted it in here. how is it done?

    Oh, that's what you meant. People say that that technique looks real to them, but I think it looks really shitty.

    Tilt/shift is a special lens that is typically used on large format cameras however there are some designed for 35mm and digital cameras. The front of the lens can be shifted horizontally or vertically from the focal point of the camera. It's usually used to correct converging lines in tilted shots but it can be used to give an extremely narrow depth of field.

    I think tilt shift is usually used for product shots or model shots. Food specifically, as well. It's also used for selective focus wedding photography.
