SRS What's the last thing that made you cry?

For me it was having a realization that I'm slowly abandoning my original, college, life-long, career choice over money (or lack thereof) and that I haven't picked up a paint brush or pencil or camera in over two years (something of which my friends and family have noticed as well). This happened a few weeks ago when I made the unfortunate mistake of asking someone new over AIM what their hobbies were.

    You?

  2. I cried a few weeks ago because I was near death, and overwhelmed by an illness which is poorly understood.

When I watched "Harold and Kumar go to White Castle"......

Seriously though, about a little over a month back I had felt as low as I've ever been. I recalled it said that if you let it out, you'll feel better after. So I forced it out. But if anything it only served to accelerate or amplify the feelings. I'd be hesitant to try that again.

TV makes me sob. I'm such a pus. I didn't cry for years. My "daddy" took that ability away from me. I got it back, though. Now I rather enjoy letting out a couple little sobs at sad bastard movies.

Yeah, Ashton Kutcher trying to act serious has that effect on me too.

I just feel for his character in the movie. I would be crying for a long time if I lost my arms. I'd also be crying if I screwed up people's lives like that. I don't know why movies make me cry but my own life is rather numb, I feel dull emotions if any.

  13. I'm real sorry things have been so difficult for you. :sadwavey:

  14. It was the sepsis which landed me in the hospital, but it was the illness which was overwhelming me to the point of tears. I've cried a lot over it, it's something that I've never been able to accept given the extreme severity of the vast array of symptoms. The fight to find solutions, and to overcome the adversity and controversy that comes with it is just exhausting. I'm sure a lot of other patients would certainly agree.

Jan. 2nd of 2002 is the last time I cried. My father passed away from cancer at the age of 56, I was 19 at the time.

The fact that not one of my "good friends" made an effort to go out with me while I was on vacation and didn't have to work. :(

I started dating a girl who did that once. Went on a few dates. Xmas vacation at college came. She didn't call me once. Still talked to her at college, but I never called her after that. Guess she wasn't interested. :dunno:

That's very sad, Tams. Reminds me of this song:

you & me, we used to be together,
    every day together, always
I really feel, that I'm losing my best friend
can't believe, this could be, the end
it looks as though, you're letting go
and if it's real then I don't want to know

I can hear her voice in my head very, very clearly... a bit on the nose, but there ya go

I cried on my Birthday (March 22). Nobody wanted to do anything with me that night, I just felt like I had no friends and no family whom cared for me. :hs:

I think the same thing is happening to me. I've known the same group of friends for my entire life. It's a family with 5 kids, and their mom used to be my babysitter, that's how I've known them for so long.

Things are going pretty well for me. The last time I cried I was reading at the time...I get more into literature than most people lol. But all the best wishes for people who were crying for more difficult reasons.
