    ..between Screen Sharing and Apple Remote Desktop?

    Screen sharing is built into Leopard, but you have to buy remote desktop. What's the difference?

    screen sharing is only leopard to leopard
    ard can go from tiger to leopard or from mac to pc

    Can you do the same things with screen sharing that ARD will let you? Or do you have more 'options' with ARD?

    ARD does stuff like let you install software and updates and run reports. It's more for an IT dept to use then just a simple VNC client.
