TAT Whats the difference in inks?

    I mean, obviously there are shitty inks and good inks, but what brands are good? Also, my friend was at some shop where they mix their own ink, whats the benefit of that?

    different ones produce better/longer lasting colors in you skin...my tattoo shop gets their inks from a local guy who makes it himself. :dunno: super specifics though

    its all about the certain ingredients. many pigments made in texas are known for being very bold and bright. most shops produce certain colors themselves (white, black, yellow and sometimes red) but they purchase most other colors from supply companies. Starbrite, Dermaglow and Intenze are very popular right now. Fantasia is an up-and-coming pigment company who have some really nice colors.
