My GF wears OrthoEvra religiously. Is this a pretty good BC?
I can read biased reviews all day, I'm looking for experienced answers.

Damnit!
I'm starting the patch in two weeks since I HATE the pill. I haven't heard much on it at all before now.

Can you explain that a little more please?

For those of you that didn't like the patch, did you have the same reaction to the pill?

the doctor gave me the OK to use the patch because i hated taking the pill, but not even after a week with the first patch, i experienced an irregular heartbeat and discovered a heart murmur or something.

made my bewbies grow the most :), and forced me into having reg periods.

going to go on the ring if i can skip like on the pill, but i havent had an answer on that yet.

oh, and i HATE having something stuck to me all the time. i just find it irritating.

i get NO noticable side effects from the pill (ie, pms type crap, sick, wightgain, soreness, sexdrive change)

You know, some women CAN feel the ring. IMO it's not all it's cracked up to be. I found the ring very vaginaly irritating (literaly). I only lasted a month and 2 days into the second month and I gave up on it. I sincerely hope it works better for you!

Wife was on pill.... got preg and miscarried

Switched to Depo, no preg, but weight gain and hardcore mood swings.

went to Otho, no preg, no weight, still able to fuck raw and no worries

Word of caution about the patch... If ya miss 1 week.. you'd should be careful for a few weeks. We were testing it(we wanted another child) so we skipped a week and she got preg damn near immediatly.

I'm one of the weird ones, who is sensitive to medication.
I used the pill, would get violently sick to my stomach. Couldn't handle several different doses or combinations.

Tried the patch. It was supposed to be a lower dose of hormones. This made it even worse. I had bad cramps, was irritable, and the patch made my skin itch. It did stay on fine, had no problems with it coming/peeling off, but it was even worse than the pill.

Went back to the pill, a new ultra low dose, and am very pleased with the results. I'd say try it out, and if it doesn't work, then you'll know. Each woman is different than the next.

The patch made me angry and feel like shit most of the time.. it also leaves sucks and leaves bandaid marks when you switch spots.. it also made my skin sore..

I did not have issues with oral birthcontrol..

I was taken off of the patch because of my issues with it and i had a Pituitary Gland issue that made me unfertal so to say. HA thats how i got pregnant with my first.. *blinks* we love her though.
