I'm looking for a bike that I would be able to get the front tire off with that is not considered a crotchrocket for insurance but has something for speed more than a cruiser. Would a Honda Nighthawk or Suzuki SV650 be the best option to go with?

This post probably seems increadibly stupid but me and my dad would like to pick something up to play around with a little other than our cruisers.

Wheelies are done with skill, not power. You can clutch up even a Ninja 250.

ummm...I don't have too much of a problem pulling a wheelie on my Suzuki Savage...and it is a pretty under powered cruiser.

Honda 599 and the SV650 would be my two choices for a non-crotch rocket sportbike.

The SV has more power than a Nighthawk. The SV is more of a sportbike, the NH is more of a standard.

The oil pickup on the sv is at the front of the engine, therefore if you get good at riding wheelies you will end up siezing the engine...
