me neither. i think its an "old person" thing cause when my bf and i went to watch it in the theaters there were all these old, white, cackling hens laughing at every fucking thing in the movie (when it wasn't all that funny). "omg. HAhaHA. They're eating sushi!. oOoOOOhhh." wtf. un fucking cultured old fucks. blah.

Some people aren't educated enough to be able to look deeper into symbolisms and meanings of the jokes and events in film. Perhaps y'all are better suited for Torque?

Before watching the movie I heard everywhere "best movie of the year" blah blah blah, I'm like cool i gotta watch that shit.

And throughout the whole movie I was thinking something's about to happen, but nothing happened. It was so boring I almost fell asleep.

American Beauty and Forest Gump were like x1000 times better.

Lost in translation was almost as sucky as Adaptation. I'd give it 1 out 5.

So ya'll like it cuz it's emo? Boo hoo look at me. I'm stuck in Japan and I'm miserable. :wtc: You don't have to be a Japanophile to enjoy Japan.

Boo hoo, my marriage sucks. :greddy:

As the Title came onto the screen, I was thinking, "Lost... In... Her Buttcrack." I whispered that and my lady friend I was watching the movie w/started cracking up.

Probably one of my fave 2003 movies as well. Kinda slow in parts, but overall, pretty good.

I thought it was a great movie. I saw it three times and thought it had great takes on relationships, culture clashes, and lost souls.
I love that it won the Golden Globe.
