I'm your typical college student, eating easy mac, ramen, fast food, and occassionally cooking some pasta, or making tuna + miracle whip, etc. I need to start eating better for obvious reasons... but I also need to gain a shitload of weight, given that I'm 125 @ 5'7ish.

I don't really know how to cook or anything so it's really hard for me to make healthy meals cause I don't even know wtf I'm doing. Are there any websites with like some really good, healthy recipes or something? I need stuff that are not only healthy but pack those calories :dunno:

The only thing I'm proud of as far as my nutritional habits go are drinking my protein shake :o

Will power. I don't cook very often. I just put stuff in the oven or microwave and make sandwiches. The only thing I actually cook on the stove are ramen/udon and rice. Occasionally I'll make mac & cheese but that takes a lot of clean up work.
And I'll also throw chicken or burgers on the foreman grill. I haven't had to put together a real meal from scratch in like a year

But are sandwiches and ramen and stuff good enough to really put on some weight? I feel like I need to switch to a meat/chicken-heavy diet to really put on some weight, but then again I don't know very much about nutrition

The easiest way to change? Shut the fuck up, quit your shitfucking, and do it.

As for getting food... george forman + chicken and tuna for the win.

I think it all depends on the person

I was able to completely turn around and change my eating habits to one that was written out for me in black and white. Before then, I didn't have a clue.

Maybe other people can't do this, but I had no problem with it

nah, around 2lb a week should be reasonable if you're eating plenty and working out.

I got serious about my life and wanting to look good, while simutaneosly learning to cook. The best thing you can do is go buy a few "all-clad" pans and a good knife. That way you have what you need to cook at home properly. Its alot easier to eat right, when you have the necessary tools to cook better than 90% of the restaurants out there.

What I'm worried about is, if I eat unhealthy (like lots of fast food or whatever), I'm actually bulking a lot less efficiently than if I were to eat healthier. If I can bulk pretty good just eating anything in sight, no matter what it is, then that would be no problem :bigthumb:

depends on how patient you are.

If you wanna grow big real quick but pack on some extra fat, eat anything.
If you wanna grow big more slowly but with less extra fat, do a clean bulk.
