My dad accidently fucked up the bumper on the car... whats the best way to fix it?

We had a mark on the bumper before, and we acually sanded it down, and spraypainted it (with matching paint) then sanded it down again, and you cant tell the difference... do you guys think it will work here in this situation?

it looks like the paint is cracked in some spots, i dont think just painting over it would be good enough.

maybe sand around the areas to get it down to the plastic, then lay a coat of primer, and then some paint match? wet sand in the end to get it smooth again.

yea, acually since the piece is fiberglass, it has stress cracks in it, but you cannot see it in the picture.

tell him if he wants the repair to look perfect, head to a body shop. That job shouldn't be much more than $300 or so.
