Its good, about 5 years old, well kept

The hood was repainted like 6 months ago though and they did a mediocore job...looks like there's black specs everywhere.

Depends on what you want. If you want something that lasts a long time, either Zainos or Klasse look great on silver. Either one will last a good 6 months or so and have real good reflections. Zainos has a system that includes a light polish, wax and a few other products. First application takes some time, but maintaining it is easy. Klasse has AOI (all in one) which is a polymer cleaner wax that leaves a great shine, then you can add Klasse SG (super glaze) on top for even more shine. Initial application is easier than Zainos, but shine isn't quite as good (but still excellent).

If you don't mind waxing, then P21S (or the version the Harley dealers sell, S100...and it is the exact same wax) is the best I have used. It will leave a real wet and deep looking surface, great reflectivity and it lasts 2-3 months or so. They also sell a light finishing polish called P21S shine enhansing cleanser or S100 paint cleanser (again, the same products).

For deeper polishing and swirl removal, Meguiars Mirror Glaze or Body Shop Professional lines are incredible. 3M also has a real good line up.

Yep, that's the best place to check. Or you can use the search function.
