werd. I'm 5'9 and I think I could drop another 2 inches before I would have trouble finding any clothes that fit, let alone look 'bad' in

5'8" is mad short I can go a week without seeing a guy shorter than me

pants are alright most of the time, it's just shirts, they never ever fit, I kind of have a bigger leg to torso ratio as well though

pics? I don't have any that would show my height well, they're usually torso up

I have a short torso and I'm 5'9. just find short cut shirts. AA size small for tees works for me. band of outsiders shirts are cut short from what I hear, try those. or just go made-to-measure.

5'8 is nothing to worry about, seriously. don't try to do goth ninja or any of that drapey shit cus it'll make you look mad retarded proportion wise. just get some well-fitting pants, jeans, tees, and button ups, and you're on the right track.

thing is the stuff im wearing in the pic is all small, but it still hangs off me in lots of areas

some stores like american eagle have extra small stuff, but it would be super lame of me to have one shirt in 5 different colors

then stop shopping at american eagle :ugh:
stuff at most of your regular mall and big-brand stores are made for americans. the fat large-bellied majority. even smalls are going to be too large. jeans will be no problem, but if you want nice fitting shirts and blazers, you're going to have to shell out some money or go with some made to measure stuff. it'll be worth the cost, because you'll feel and look a lot better.

American apparel is tailored for tiny people.

H&M and uniqlo tend to run slim/small too.

Get some Euro size stuff rather than american size cloths. As someone said, try H&M/Uniqlo. I find that Zara has smaller cloths as well.
