Ordered a refurbished 8GB iPhone this afternoon and it's scheduled to arrive Friday. I did some research and asked a few friends, and they all recommend an Incase and/or InvisibleShield.

I was thinking of just getting the entiere InvisibleShield but I heard that it's a real bitch to get the back one on properly. Also, one of my friends is saying the sticky adhesive is actually oozing out. :hsugh:

Incase also seems pretty solid, but I'm wondering if it'll make the iPhone too bulky. Though from the pictures, it doesn't seem so.

I'm thinking about ultimately going for an Incase + InvisibleShield for the front screen.

Throw some of your thoughts/experiences please. :x:

I have that same case. It is pretty much perfect.

I have dropped my iPhone numerous times, even directly on the screen. The only thing that is scratched is the black piece (back and bottom), and the chrome bezel. The bezel is like the back of an ipod, even lint scratches it.

I dont think you need a screen protector (screen is made of glass), but get one if you want the piece of mind.

A buddy of mine said his phone got pretty warm when the had a case on, and the screen started getting garbled. Like it was overheating or something...anyone heard anything about this?

For those with the Incase, have you noticed it stretching like crazy? I read reviews on Apple's websites and people were commenting on the fact that it'd stretch out so much after a few weeks that the iPhone starts sliding around inside.

Did it stretch so bad that you didn't feel safe having the iPhone in it? Also, what case are you considering to replace it?

were the people constantly taking it out of the case? i don't see how it can stretch when it is always in the case...
