omega-3's but different fatty acid profile when you compare to fish oils
Some benefits to the lignans in flax that is not found in fishoil.
Otherwise flax seed oil is inferior to fish oil because it still hs to be converted to useable EPA/ DHA and there's only a 15% conversion rate in most people.
Timber what do you think about hemp seed oil?
Aside from the lignans found in flax (aid in cancer prevention), flax has always been a cheaper and inferior source of Omega-3's. Hopefully you werent asking what the health benefits of EFA's are
Hemp supposedly gives you a better balance of omega 6's as well as 3's, but from what I understand we usually already consume a disproportionate amount of omega 6's from other sources. Though I may be getting my 6's and 9's mixed up.
