What's the bandwagon combo to use these days?

I haven't bought anything new for quite some time, and honestly haven't thought too much about it. It was a nice break, but I'm getting that detailing itch again, plus there is money to be made with the warmer weather coming.

So, what's the bandwagon combo now? I need something quick on and off, relatively good shine, smooth finish, durability isn't a huge concern.

    Great sealant system.

Optimum's Polishes, their spray car wax and No Rinse Wash are also great products. :)

Optimum Polish seems like a pretty good all in one polish, what would you use to top it?

A real easy process is to polish with OP, then buff off with Optimum Car Wax. Then either add another layer of OCW or top with a carnauba.

Following with Prime and Acrylic Jett (Werkstatt) also works very well.

Really good stuff, noticably darkens the paint. Very wet too.

Like always, proper prep for best results. Can't hurt to have a black Phantom to lay it on either!

If Jett is considerd "acrylic" and a polymer, and needs time to cross link...and if we understand that most of the spray wax is probably water and silicone, then spraying water on something that needs to cross link would stop or slow down the cross linking.

Not sure how I feel about that.

Saves a step. Also makes sure you got everything. I don't do it if I am following with a glaze though.

Prime (the "AIO" in the system) is 90% cured at 30 minutes and you can use Carnauba Jett over it without affecting durability according to Jeff at Werkstatt. If you want to use Carnauba Jett over Acrylic Jett, for optimal results wait 24 hours but he says a few hours wait has a minimcal affect on durability.

I'm just trying to make sure I have all this right, so after you used the Optimum Polish you removed it by applying OCW, then wiped down/buffed the OCW and applied Carnauba Jett?

Is the main benefit here time?

    Thanks Scott!

Yep, time saver. Plus CJ glides on effortlessly over OCW. :)
