i'm getting tired of my mirrored closet doors. they just look..... old.
doors without mirrors.
i am about to put cloth up. i hate doors, stuff always gets in the way and the center becomes useless
I've seen wonderful things done with sliding frosted acrylic
definitely get rid of the mirrors though
I have an accordian stlye closet sectioned into 4 parts that splits in the middle and opens outward. Each piece is solid and has a square/rectangular cut design. Not exactly the new hotness, but I love it. It's very accessible and has never broken down in the 11 years I've had it.
see through doors
i had to take out the doors of my closet because my apartment was built shitty. my clothes come out from the closet area about 1" and i have having them exposed the way they are.
any advice for me?
is the pole shifted too close to the front of the closet or is there just not enough width?
there's space enough for the pole to get moved back for everything to just barely fit, but since i'm out come june, i don't really want to get into anything serious.
You can just hang a curtain since you'll be out in June. It's quick, easy, and cheap, yet still hides all of your closet clutter and still looks good.
how is the pole mounted? mine are locked into plastic end pieces and can be popped in and out. if you can detach the pole easily you could look for those end pieces at lowe's or home depot.
the mountings are nailed in with 6 or 7 nails. it looks like they were meant to be screwed in, but they're not
6 or 7? holy crap, were they preparing for WWIII?
It would help to see pics of the way it's mounted. You could always go buy what I mentioned before w/the pole cut to the right length and install it behind the existing one
