I thought it was really good. Bill Murray's acting in this film was brilliant. He was perfect for the role and showed me how much he deserved the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Comedy (even though I don't consider this a comedy for the most part). Scarlett Johansson was really good as well. :yum: I think she's got a very promising future in Hollywood. Sofia Coppola wrote an amazing story which to me was something very original and different from the Hollywood norm. Excellent film. :bigthumb:

It was good, but not one of Bill's best movies. :)

Lol, I forgot about that. Yeah, MTV really needs to stop putting money into making movies. They should do something that would really get them some bank like....pr0n. :bigthumb:

It's a cool movie to relax and ENJOY. There's nothing really that you have to concentrate on to get it, like "Donnie Darko" or "Se7en".

    "Lip my linen"
"What? You want me to lick your linen?"
    "LIP MY LINEN!"
    "Oh, you mean rip?"
    "Yes, rip my linen!"
    ........
"Oh, Mr.Harris, don't touch me. Don't touch me Mr, Harris, No! Ohhhh!!"

    I saw this this weekend....

I will not waste my time summing up the brilliance that was this movie for you here. Pretty much, either you GET it… or you don’t.

This SHOULD win best picture… tho Castaway was beaten out by a special effects film… much like this one may… at least she’ll get best director. :x:

Posting this in here too seeing as no one is going to see the other thread :big grin:

I saw it 2 months ago and I thought it was very good. I had no idea what the film was about when I saw it so I didn't know what to expect.
It's kinda slow paced, but very interesting waiting to see what is going to happen next.

Exactly. One of the best movies I've ever seen.

Return of the King deserves the Best Picture Oscar this year though. True story.
