Should they face each other now since both of these guys just bassically threw themselves into the spot light by fighting highly ranked fighters or should they go back and get a rematch to avenge old losses and potentially build them up for a showdown between the two.

Id like to see forrest vs tito 2 after the whole rashad vs tito crap comes to an end. That would be a good fight to watch because alot of people think that forest won that fight.

Keith Jardine vs Houston alexander would also be a big draw because alexander has proven himself to be an agressive fighter and showed that the fight vs jardine the first time around was no fluke he is the real thing. If alexander could avenge that loss he would definately shake off any doubts people have about him.

I just see alot of potential fights I would be excited to watch from this.

    it was just wishful thinking.

in all reality is see the biggest draw being them fighting eachother, but they wont do that. At least I dont think Silva would do that.

    IMO the following should happen
Forest v Jardine II for the next title shot
    Machida v Alexander
    Wanderlei v Chuck

Thats what im saying, all of those fights not only will be interesting, but they all have implications.

Forest Jardine 2 is awesome b/c they've both grown as fighters, and its to see who has improved the most, and they're both coming off massive wins.

Machida Alexander is awesome b/c if Machida's elusiveness will be awesome against Alexander's all out aggression and desire to stand in the pocket. They can both win that fight.

Wanderlei Chuck because not only do we all wanna see it, they're both coming off 2 losses. Now it doesn't matter who loses, if chuck loses, they throw him a can or two and he gets back into it.

This would be ideal and it would do a lot to restabilize the LHW division. The big question is now that they've got Shogun who should he fight next? To be honest I think that they're going to put off bringing Wandy in and have Chuck fight Shogun first. They could also have Hendo fight Shogun if Hendo plans on staying at 205. Forrest/Jardine and Machida/Alexander both need to happen. I'm more interested in those two fights than any of the others.

How do you lose a fight, win a fight, and then get a title shot? Shouldn't you have a few wins in a row before you get a title shot?

Depends. If there is no one else with big wins strung together and your big win is over the previous long time champ or over the #1 ranked, then yes. Who else would you have fight for the title?

I have no freaken clue. I'm glad that's not my job :bigthumb:

I guess I just think of fights as either Champ or non-Champ. So I see Jardine's win over non-champ Liddell as just a normal win (but a really awesome win). He should have to fight one more LHW and win to get a title shot.
