Just wondering what SigArms 550 and the Canadian variant SwissArms PE90would be worth.

I bought a PE90 earlier this year for about $3500 CAD. Gun shoots amazing and its the best gopher gun ever...lol.

Also, if I wanted to attend a Service Rifle comp, would the ATF refuse entry of my rifle?

I'd be guessing a lot more than $1.5k - I've never heard of semi auto 550 variants for general sale in the US.

There are only a limited supply that made it to the US before the import ban, hence, anything you find for sale in the US will be in the $4,500++ range.

If it was still importable, or made in the US, I imagine a SIG 55x would be in the $1,700-2000 range. We'll see what the 556 goes for later this month, I guess.

I believe for competitions, they will allow entry, as that's not the same as importation, and it's not otherwise illegal. Probably want to know what happened to it if you don't have it when you leave though.

Yeah, even saw one sell in the $9k range.

But the Sig 556 MSRP is $1300.

I find having to file transport paperwork to take your "taxed paperworked guns etc" out of your state is BS.
