Hypothetically say you wanted to have a site that said something like "you live in ______ and the temp is _____"

The location info would come from their IP or something and the temp would come from looking weather.com (or some other site) based on the location info provided in their IP.

Is that simple or is that ridiculously complex and requires unrelated scripts to talk with each other or something like that?
