whats goin on?

    i eat healthy-ish food, run two and a half miles a day and haven t lost a pound since i started three weeks ago- plus i keep gettin this muscular back pain when running. can you advise?

    180 pounds, 5'9'' and approx 2000 calories a day - maybe max 50g fat, mostly carbs

    prob 15%bf. fitness wise i've improved a ton but nothin else. startin to bug me

    you need to concentrate on diet more. get 1g protein per lb of bodyweight, and then fill in the rest of the cals with an even cut of clean fats (fish/flax/omega 3's) and complex carbs. cut back from 2000 cals to like 1700 cals or so, and see what happens.

    in addition, you need to start lifting. running really doesnt burn that many calories. cardio is important, but lifting will burn more cals.
