got a guy who offered me this:

"I have a LNIB pristine Glock17 that I will trade. Gen3 July‘03 w/ PT Night Sights, Stainless Guide Rod/17 lb, 2 Glock Mags, Clam Shell & all Factory stuff.
    1 3/4” 5 rnd groups @15yds on Sand Bag, 500 flawless rnds. Valued @ $575"

i know nothing about glocks, and i'm kinda reluctant seeing as i already have an HK in 9mm, and they're pretty much the same. how hard would it be for me to sell it if i wanted something different? thanks.

:wtf: a glock and an HK are nothing alike

You can actually get your hands around a glock, but i hate the finger grooves in em. They are not comfortable for me to shoot.

"Valued @ $575"

How much do you want to get for your 10/22 if you were to sell it? If you wanted like $400 or $450 then I guess it would be a good deal.

i'd put my 10/22's value at around $550. his estimate did seem pretty high, but again, i know nothing about glocks

no opinions on the gun, but why get another 9mm...? you seem to love ur USP so you would probably just end up neglecting the Glock... just my .02

I wouldn't do it, but if you've been trying to get rid of your 10/22 for a while and haven't gotten any better offers then I don't know, mabye go for it in that case if nothing better comes along...

It seems like you have your basics covered. Just get whatever you think you'll be happy with. I don't think I could be happy with a Glock personally, though. I don't like em.

I wouldn't go for it since you already have the 9mm USP and aren't that interested in the Glock, with what you got on the 10/22 I'de put the value on that above a used G17.

I think topglock has 17's for $500ish with the factory night sights 2 mags, etc. I dont consider the guide rod to be any plus, my 17 had 1000's of rounds through it with the factory one.

You can find a used 17 on a good day for $400ish. Brand new 17 no night sites is $449+ship+FFL

more than likely the "value" he put would be what he payed for it all; gun + sites + installation of sites = more than what its worth...

don't do it. Glocks are evil. They have grips that are at a different angle from a normal gun so you have to learn to shoot all over again. What happened to the ultra compact?
