My numbers are slowly going back up again.

But while doing rep's today I was wondering what is better?

Slightly Lower weight , but slower on both ends of movement , so more area under the curve.

Slightly Higher weight, faster, pound it out, dynamic, less area under the curve, but the peak is higher.

Ive been doing dynamic fast movement on my normal sets. But slower more volume with my burnout sets later on.

So example, bench and squat, 1.5-2.5 seconds on the download movement, 1 second ish on the upward push.

I feel like the dynamic is helping me go further on getting my weights up higher. But I feel a bigger "pump" fatigue moving slowing. Spending more time under weight.

Why must you choose just one method? Incorporate both and get the different results each style promotes...

Gotta agree... I switch my workouts every week. One week i'll do 3 sets of 6 with a final set of 25. The next I'll do 4 sets of 12 to failure. Then every 8 weeks or so I do pyramids for 2 weeks. I get pretty damn good results.
