    what anti-inflammatory medication works for you? *elbow pain*

    been having this SHARP pain on the TIP of my elbow ever since i did heavy on tricep DB ext.

    nothing is swollen nor red.... feels like the pain is on the bone on the outside tip of my left elbow

    anyone ever had this pain? its been over 2 weeks that i havent lifted coz of this pain.

    its not tendonitis.... and no pain if i press my hand against my forehead.

    not bursitis either since theres no fluid inside.


    pain is SLOOOWWWLLLLLYYYY going away though. it was worst 2weeks ago.

    try ibuprofen or naproxen, i like ibuprofen but it boils down to personal preference.

    prescription strength ibuprofen dose is 800mg every 8 hours. max of 2400mg in 24 hours.

    if neither work for you might want to ask your physician if you should try a different rx-only NSAID such as meloxicam, diclofenac (both very cheap), or even celebrex (very expensive) only if you have good prescription insurance.

    Aleve > * for me when it comes to nsaids. For steroids, good ole celestone shot also works wonders, if you know any nurses. Don't get too many in one year though, could end up with cushings.

    coz theres a pain on TIP of my elbow on top of the bone when i EXTEND my arm.

    like i said, looks like nothing is swollen or different color. but the pain has been going away slooooowwlly the last couple days though

    ice is awesome. naproxen on top of it = fixed joint irritation I had almost overnight several times.
