whats a good time to run a mile in?

    i did it in 8 and it was all i had.my friend did it in 6.58.whats considerd fast?

    In all seriousness, anything under 6 is pretty darn good. Not worthy of competition but darn good.

    Agreed. Try getting on a treadmill and setting it at anything over 10 mph and see if you can last a mile.

    realistically anything under 4 minutes is pretty good though.

    I would say for most people just under 6 minutes is a pretty decent goal to start with if running a good mile time is your thing

    anything under 4 minutes is absurd.

    i'm 270 pounds so anything under 8 minutes sounds pretty good to me

    7 minutes or quicker is pretty respectable IMO.

    im dying for air for anything under 8 mins...on a treadmill

    i probably wouldn't even make a mile on a track

    maybe next year, right now my best time is about 15 minutes, once my creatine cycle is over, I'm sure I'll be down to 4 :naughty:

    wtf? 8 minutes felt like warp speed to me, i almost shit my pants when i was done.I'm 6' 255lbs and i think its a safe bet to say that my fat fuckin ass will never,ever,ever see 7 fuckin minutes!

    real life and treadmill are different. I can run a mile in 8 minutes no problem, but I have a hard time on the treadmill going 6mph for a mile

    my best was 6:50 back in freshman highschool :hsugh: but now i cant even jog a mile straight :rofl:

    under 6 minutes is fantastic, under 5 is spectacular, under 4 is not achievable unless you are a professional athelete
