That allows you to view the file names on each picture, and does not freeze every 5 seconds.

I am using proshow producer right now, its complete garbage

I've heard great things about iPhoto and I'd assume Aperture adapted the good things about iPhoto, although I haven't used it.

LR2 isn't bad by any means and is fairly customizable, but I've heard it's drab in comparison to iPhoto unfortunately.

I havent done any, but a couple of the pros I work with both swear by Soundslides and they're hardcore Apple users so if they recommend it they must like it better than iPhoto/Aperture.

    showit
its by far the easiest and cleanest.
won't show the filename on the photo during slideshow, but has a gallery view you can end with that shows the filename. Or you could always put the filename on to the image

I downloaded the demo to try it out, why does it take so long to add photos to the slide? It takes like 2 seconds to load in one jpg. And its only 800x800 rez.

Tried soundslides and i photo and could not find showit. I am sorry but they are not what I was looking for. Proshow lets me add 3000 pictures and 50 songs in less than 10 min, has tons of options and very easy to work with. But only problem is it freezes a lot.

But they just released a new version, I am most likely gonna buy the new version and see if they have improved it.
