Is there a certain size that is what you shoudl really use for imagery type pictures? I usually take them in 1024x768 but didn't know if there was a specific one I should use :dunno:

The 3 I can apply are:
    640x480
    1024x768
    1600x1200

Depends on your intended application for the photographs.

For example, if you plan to create desktop wallpapers, I would suggest taking them at at least 1280x960. If you are taking them for print, then I would take them much larger (as large as possible). If you are taking them to be placed on a website, 1024x768 is fine as you can size/crop the image down to what you need it to be at.

In the end, it is always better to be stuck with a large image rather than a smaller one. I have images that I could do more with if they were larger, but the fact is that I can't.
