so as the title says whats a good protein shake?
i was told that "lean body" was good?
im pretty new to this so... what are the other things listed for?
(like i said im very new to this)
BCAA=Branch Chain Amino Acids
Check OTFN stickies for all your basic info needs.
hmm i just looked up lean body and its 45grams per serving.
and also thinking of buying this and the lean body from bulknutrition.com
what does everyone think?
on whey is both put together
and like 80% of F&N swear by on whey.. i like it mixes good tastes good (Y)
Style, ever tried the Vanilla Ice Creme flavor? I've been looking into trying some out but haven't gotten around to it. That and I get burned out on chocolate flavored stuff rather quickly.
Also I was wondering if you could just get the unflavored stuff, mix it with milk and then add a bit of flavored Nesquick to taste.
You think there would be any harm in getting unflavored and adding whatever flavor Nesquick I want for taste? I may go that route to keep a nice variety of flavor so I don't get burned out on any specific one. And I can always add it to juice as well and get the juice flavor. Variety is the spice of life afterall.
Here are the Nutritional Facts on Nesquick:
Serving Size 2 teaspoons
Total Fat: 0g
Trans fat: 0g
Saturated fat: 0g
Total Carbs: 21g
Dietary Fiber: 0g
So other than the 13g of sugar I don't see anything too terribly bad about Nesquik.
why are you on a diet if you look like this http://www.theupload.com/view.php?id=00048891
abb pure pro vanilla is what i have
On 100% When was 19.99 for a 2.2lb jar at RiteAid
Tastes like ass with just water though
Carribean Cooler Nectar WPI ftmfw
23g per scoop, 0 carbs, 90 cals.
21g is not a lot of carbs
Just picked up some of the ON Any Whey (unflavored 100% Whey Protein). Mixed it in my milk w/ a bit of Nesquik and it tastes delicious. Mmm, Nesquik. Goes really good with a peanut butter sammich.
17g out of a 20.5g serving. I don't mind not having those extra 7g that the preflavored has since I'll probably be eating a peanut butter sammich with my drink most of the time and that's another 16g of protein (8g per tablespoon, 2 tablespoons per sandwich). So I'm all good. Plus I'll probably do double servings in my drinks as well.
those are free-form BCAA's. The BCAA's in ON are just part of all the various amino acids that make up the protein. Every protein powder, actually every complete protein source, has them in similar amounts.
Best I've ever had, I also got 10lbs of whey isolate for 47$ when they ran out of whey blend
champion is pretty good. ive sworn by it for over 2 years. lately ive been buying dymatize whey. ive had chocolate mint and some berry flavor so far and they are awesome
i like dymatize, and anabolic innovations is good too. I also like syntrax matrix, even though they are shady bastards and won't reveal the amount of whey vs the amount of milk protein in the mix, i like the idea of a blend rather than just whey for most uses.
I like trueprotein.com for mixes but sometimes there prices are a little high
can everyone post price/sizes for their "favorite" proteins? i wonder if ordering them would be cheaper than getting from costco
