On an SKS. Buddy of mine wants to sell his, but I'm not sure what a good price would be. I've shot it a few times, it's in pretty good shape.

It's a russian SKS, I believe from Tula (I'm 99% certain it was tula, because of the star), not sure what year, but pretty sure it's a later model with a chrome barrel.

He wants to sell it, but told me to tell him what a good price was (he's busy moving, can't really look stuff up)

What is a good price? I've looked on gunsamerica / gunbroker, and I'm seeing prices from 300 up to 500.

    Any help?

Yeah, the 200 ones I'm seeing are all yugo.

I'm guessing I'm going to offer him 300, see what he says, but if anyone has any personal experience or anything, it would be appreciated.

$225+ various things can raise the price, some years are more desirable etc.

Around here you could expect to pay 350 to 400. But the only reason is because the only time I see them is at the gun show and that isnt very often
