Where should I shop for an F5? How much should I pay?

Or should I get an F100?

I've been borrowing my friend's N75 for a film class, but I've got a ton of film classes left to take and I don't want to keep her camera from her forever. Figured I need to get my own film camera. Somehow I was surprised to see how relatively cheap these "top of the line" Nikon film cameras are compared to digital stuff these days. Not sure why I was surprised since they're old. :dunno:

I just don't know what sort of prices to be looking for. Ebay has an extremely large price range, anywhere from a couple hundred to 600. Adorama mostly has around 5-600. Adorama has F100's for basically half the price of F5's. If I buy from them I definately will go with the F100.

Thanks for the link Hypnos. It looks like F5's are going to be more expensive than I thought they were. I definately don't want to blow a lot of money on a camera I don't really want, but only need for some classes. I just figured if I had to get a film camera, I might as well enjoy a badass one. =p

Probably going to settle for an F100.
