What's a good plant to keep in my dorm room?

I want some foliage in here. So I thought I'd get some kind of small plant. I don't know anything about plants. So I was hoping The Style Lab could point me into the right direction? :dunno:

dracaena, snake plant and spider plant. It's pretty hard to kill any of those.

I have a window that faces sunlight during the day. But, it's not the best source of sunlight. Can't plants survive off like room light too?

I was thinking of a Aspidistra type plant. :dunno:

Nicknamed the "cast-iron" plant according to an article I'm reading.

I water it about every 3-4 days, or when it gets all droopy. I haven't messed with changing the soil yet. I wasn't planning on worrying about it. :dunno:

It's almost as easy as a cactus. Which is also a good plant to have.
