Wasn't there some guy here who competed on the national level in shotgun games?

He'd probably know...... I've always used 1100/1187's, and a Silver Pigeon.

    Any model should be good

    XS is nice

Gun I have about 250k rounds through is a Citori Sporter Ultra

You could drop the dime on a Krieghoff

For Sporting Clays and some skeet, do you think that's the hot setup? My grandfather gave me a Silver Pigeon a long time ago, and I honestly like my 1100's more. I've been shooting some shotgun stuff lately, and forgot how much fun it is. I was thinking about a Benelli SuperSport, but everyone keeps pushing me towards Citori's.

It's a personal preference... I like the weight of an O/U because it forces a follow through

If I could find one local I'd pick up a Browning Recoilless.
