I'm not looking for something to old 13507135 gigs of songs

I'm looking for something that is RELIABLE (fuck ipods pieces of shit)
and also easy to put music on.. like plug into USB port.. drag and drop. fuck the itunes bullshit. and i would prefer a long battery life.. preferably chargable battery.. but if not.. then just a AA or AAA battery is fine.

no ipods please. and cheap is fine. maybe around 1gb of storage.. if that?

    gimme your best mp3 players.

SanDisk makes good players. Their Sensa line is quite nice.

Also the Samsung YP-Z5 is nice as well.

umm, I know you said no iPods but the 1GB shuffle fits everything you said so perfectly its not even funny.

Good battery, won't break, easy to use, idk whats the big deal.

more than a gig, but the rio carbons are great.
i found a factory refurbished one(like new) for 90$, and now you can find them for alot less.
5 gigs, wont break, rechargeable battery, drag and drop capable;though Id rather use Rio Music Manager

Yeah, i am a pretty big apple fan but for what you need, get something along this line...

    http://www.mpioamerica.com/mpio/productInfo.html?productId=228
(Nice and flashy but a bit pricey)

    http://www.sandisk.com/Products/Item(1931)-SDMX5-1024-Sansa_c140_MP3_Player_1GB.aspx
(Nice screen, a bit bigger than the first, but good price for what you get)

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...f=pd_bbs_3/104-8902540-1383103?_encoding=UTF8
(pretty ugly, but a mp3 player for $29, not bad at all! As long as you don't mind loading songs on there every couple of days or whatnot?)
