whats a good image viewer program for x windows (ubuntu)

    the default one opens a pic but doesnt let me for example hit right arrow and go to next image, so i have to close it, and open the other image :ugh: (ubuntu uses gnome btw i think)

    whats a good image viewer for linux?

    It's much like ACDSee, it doesn't use the arrow keys to change the images it uses the PageUp and PageDown.
    It comes in many OS flavors; Linux, Mac OS X and Windows, just to name a few.

    BTW, have you tried the PageUp and PageDown keys with the other program you're talking about?

  5. you could also use the default Ubuntu image viewer and open up a whole folde which allows you to goto the next image

    Eye of Gnome rulez if you know how to use it :bigthumb:

    Inded, eog will let you open images as a collection. I think if you open more than three images at once it asks you if you want to open them as a collection.
