My Geforce ti 4200 isnt cutting it anymore. I think its just about dead or something. I want to pick a new card up today that isnt to expensive(100-200) and i was just wondering what a decent card for now is. I prefer ATI because i hear GREAT things about those cards. Also i do overclock so if there is a cheap ATI card i can overclock i would love that.

WoW doesn't really need much in terms of video cards to be happy. I've run it on an ATi 9800 Pro and it was just plain sex, I also run it on an MX440 (lower than yours) and that runs fine (not choppy at all) but it just doesn't have all the bells and whistles.

I noticed a huge jump in performance from 512MB of RAM to 1GB. CPU will also make a difference for you, how are you in those departments?

As for a new video card the nVidia 6600 is raved about, supposedly faster than an ATi 9800 but that tips just over $200. There is the ATi 9600 and 9700 but to tell you the truth I'd pony up for either the 6600 or the 9800 (~$250) :)

I have a AMD 2400+, Geforce4 ti 4200 and 1gig of ram. I have 3 different types of ram sticks though, 2 are 256 and the other is 512 corsair. The other 2.. one is corsair and the other is some company i have never heard of.

oh also, it used to run FINE, i mean no lag at all what soever but now it just lags everytime i go out of orgimmar. I turned my settings to 640 and it still lagged but doesnt lag in orgimmar city. Its really weird... oh btw my cs runs fine 100fps solid.

With your current budget and other comp specs, the 6600 GT AGP would be the best option.

well it used to run perfect and then all of a sudden it starts running like shit. The only thing i can think is that its the graphics card. But what bothers me is it runs fine when im in orgrimmar but whenever i go anywhere else it lags me even with the settings all the way down...

Definitely the 6600GT. That says a lot coming from an ATI fan (I have a 9700 Pro, it kicks ass, and is only about $160 from www.pricewatch.com ).
