Lifting weights all day isn't the most exciting thing in the world and I'm thinking about doing something that will help build more endurance, functional strength, and be fun as well. A friend of mine is a karate trainer and she's offered to let me into her classes for free. You can't beat free, but her gym is kind of far away. I've got a muay thai gym in my building and a MMA gym (muay thai + BJJ) down the block though. They're both casual gyms who just brings trainers in though, so nothing hardcore, and kinda expensive too. Maybe I'll just buy a banana bag and practice wrecking havoc at home instead.
