My buddy needs some money and he wants to sell me his Eotech night vision optics for an AR. Whats a fair price that I should give him? It has a good bit of scratches and wear and tear.

    What model and what revision?

If it's the AA model with the rubber push buttons and not the microwave buttons, like $300?

If it's the N model with the rubber push buttons and not the microwave butons, like $250?

edit - I changed the numbers because you said it was pretty beat.

I'm guessin you don't own NODs, so, if you can't scoop this thing up for MAXIMUM what I said, just buy an EOTech 512.

    Why do you say 'them'?

We are talking about [IMG] or something similar right?

Whatever he paid for it is unimportant, because unless you're getting a good deal, since you don't have NODs, paying more than about $325-$350 for an EOTech (and that'd be brand new) is dumb for you.

Especially if it's beat to shit, which shouldn't matter, but, should merit a discount.

Yeah. Having an NVG-compatible EOTech when you're never gonna have night vision's dumb because of how much more they cost.

You can scoop up a BRAND NEW EOTech 512 (which is the one you want) on eBay, free shipping w/ Buy It Now for $350, so, I am pretty sure you can et one brand new for $325 if you wait.

Use that as a guideline and go from there.

  10. That's my recommendation. Hell, I sold my used 512 on barfcom for $330.

    A 55x will sell MINT for $350-375

If it's beat up, $300 max, less if it's really beat, ie; looking like it is about to fall apart.

I dunno, I got $550 for my black 553 and it had a light scratch on the hood. Sold in 30 minutes too...

My bad, the CR123 models still get a premium, although you did luck out to get new price for even a mint used unit. I meant the 551 and 552 are in the $300's
