I have a Asus Eee PC 900a and it's just too small for my fingers.

I would use it for internet, instant messaging, email, and maybe a few programs nothing too much of a resource hog.

I was thinking maybe a 11.6" netbook since they are rights size keyboard but then I was like why not get get a freaking laptop?

Netbook is probably your best option.

Have you looked at the Gateway LT3103u? I just bought one for $400 with tax and am pretty happy with it...

Believe it or not, it came with Vista and ran it pretty well. I decided to install Windows 7 on it and it runs great. I have be thinking of install Ubuntu on it. 11.6" screen, 2GB of RAM, a pretty good video card, and 250 GB HD. I forgot about the AMD processor as well. Video runs at 1366x768 as well.
