word... in retrospect I should have asked for those items as well. My birthday's in march... or I could just buy them myself :o depends if i wanna keep feeling that ridiculous forearm burn during RDLs or if I wanna wuss out.

the only christmas present i got was a season pass to a local snowboarding resort.

christmas to me is all for my son, i don't expect gifts from friends and family, and prefer that they don't buy me any :hs:

word... I prefer less gifts but for them to be specifically stuff I want... Not to be showered with loads of random stuff that either doesn't fit me or will end up being useless clutter.

it just goes into depth about the various lifts (squat, bench, deadlift, press, clean, and variations/assistance exercsises) and how to properly perform them, what they're good for, and how they work. Not just that but it has diagrams on a lot of the various lifts on how to do them based on your bodytype, which is crucial for me.

Just after glancing through it for a few minutes: I have really long legs, a short torso, and my back is always in kyphosis (i.e. I can't straighten my spine perfectly for a deadlift like some guys can). I found diagrams for squatting and deadlifting that show the proper form for my body type, and it's drastically different from a guy like you who is vertically challenged with a more proportional body. Good news is my deadlift form is spot on. My squatting could always use some work.

That plus there are some bad ass pictures of bill starr and other old dudes destroying a lot of weight
