I shot this tonight, I had to park the car at the side of the highway so I was kinda in a hurry, the other pics were over exposed, blurry (had to use that concrete barrier as a tripod) so bridge vibration was quite strong and the other was badly composed. I suppose you can tweak it in PS to make it look better.
What would you do to it? Do it, put your watermark if you like and post it!

My shitty first attempt got me this:

Critique it, fix it, play with it...but be nice :o

The giant lens flare across the middle of the image kinda fucks it up. Did you have a uv filter on it?

No filters, straight from the S2....this wasn't planned, I just thought the decoration over the river looked cool and stopped for a few pics :)

Try pulling your black level way up and see what that looks like.

I'd do it but I'm updating osx so I can install cs3. :hs:

It didn't really bring anything to the shot.

Is that really like a million dollars worth of neon lighting making fake waves? And yeah, go back and re-take without big cement thing in the corner.

The lights is just xmas decoration over a small river that divides the city, it took a few weeks to assemble and I think it looks great.

It's light tubes, just like the usual xmas lights inside clear plastic tubes, not neon.

Maybe tomorrow I'll stop by and retake it, I'll bring my tripod so I can avoid the barrier.

:werd: I'll try a lower ISO setting...
How can I avoid the halos around the city lights? I even tried faster shutter times (2 seconds I think) and the pics were underexposed and still showed the damn halos

    Suggestions?

    It's a Canon S2 IS :)

its a Daewoo cab, here cabs are all white.
Yeah, it ruins the pic, that's why tonight I'm going late to avoid that.

I'm glad someone else complained. If you're going to take a delayed shot like that something that SHOULD be moving really kills it.

Post up your retake when you have it. :wavey:
