What would happen if YOU ate 3000 calories per day?

    If you did so for a month...
    Would you gain weight?
    Would you lose weight?

    What's your current bodyweight?

    And just curious... And considering trying it. Even 3500 calories.I always assumed my maintenance was about 2500 calories.
    I know a few here consider that virtually a fast.

    I eat around 3500-3800cals/day now and am maintaining at 190lbs. I have to eat 4800+ calories just gain any weight it seems. :o

    oh yea i'm 6'1"

    My maintainance calories are 3200 so i would lose a small bit. This is at 135lbs so my metabolism is crazy fast

    I have been eating about 3k cals a day. I have been gaining weight at a pretty steady rate. I'm going to continue doing this till the begining of december or so when I will begin a long slow cut till may.

    I'm with you. I consume 2000~2500 cal/day and I'm pretty much maintaining my bodyweight at 175lbs @ 5'8". So if I were to consume 3500 cal, I'd probably gain some weight.

    I'd be hungry, because i am dieting pretty hardcore at about 3000 cals. And I am fucking hungry constantly.

    most likely maintain

    5'11 185 pounds

    im eating about 3700 calories a day and putting on about 1 pound a week

    I'd slowly cut, which is why that's probably what level I'll be eating at when I get around 250-260. 230 right now
