My knees always hurt on the elliptical :dunno: and I've never had a problem in the past with my knees hurting on anything else...

Depends on what causes your pain. Seated elliptical is the best though for knee pain.

elliptical is great for my knees. (so is bike, but i hate the bike. time vs. calories burned isn't worth it.)

Really depends on you and your body :dunno: do you have pre-existing knee conditions or are you just worrying about nothing?

After knee surgery, the physical therapist had me doing only non-impact stuff.

So between those 2, biking would be the obvious choice.
