Any advice on how to get a good deep shine on my newly acquired Acura TL? The car is metallic silver and I was wondering what you guys recommend?

    Opti-Seal FTW...

Or if you prefer a more traditional carnauba wax I've always liked the look of P21S/S100 on lighter colors.

This combo looks amazing on my Acura TL-S. Be sure to wash, clay, polish first, then use OS + OCW as Scott mentioned. You'll be very happy.

The sad thing here is we're getting to be just as bad about being Optimum whores as the Zaino crowd is about their shit.... :mamoru: :noes:

...except we don't tell people how stupid they are if they don't use Optimum. Plus we emphasize polishing over LSPs. ;)

I don't know why people care what brand you use or are affiliated with just use what you like and the LSP matters not unless polish and prep the fucker right

Hard to argue with how easy Opti-Seal is to use.

Thanks for the info guys. I am really really tempted to buy a PC. Whats a good package these days? I want something that comes with all the shit I need (backing plate and pads). Who has the best prices on the optimum stuff?

Oh, anyone care to reccomend a leather and interior care produc?

I still like Werkstatt Prime + Trigger on dark metallic paint, like my blue Acura TL-S, because the metallic flake really POPS.

Last month I used Opt Polish, Opti-Seal and OCW on the same Acura, I was very impressed with the overall gloss - looks similar to Derek's Infinity (nice job BTW) in the pics. While the finish was very good, the metallic doesn't catch my attention like it does with Werkstatt. Obviously, your mileage may vary. :bigthumb:

I think they are both very solid products. I do see a difference and it isn't bad, just different. Anyone else notice this?
