What was the ending requirements? How many mile run in how long? etc.
vertical jump: 16"
sit-ups in 1 minute: 29
300 meter run: 71 seconds
1.5 mile run: 16 min. 28 seconds
So in other words they'll pass anyone
you should see the entry standards
Thast sorta pathetic. I think around here its more boot camp so you have to be able to run 5-10 miles.
My police academy
*Male age 20-29. Requirement to graduate
Push ups: 30
Sit ups: 40
1.5 mile run: 12:12
What the hell is flexibility?
your legs have to bend 17.5 degrees
i thought it was you had to be able to reach 17.5 inches or something sitting down and reaching towards your feet.
In all seriousness. They have you sit down and reach towards your toes and they have a box thing that you put your feet against which has some sort of ruler.
i couldn't do that. i can barely even touch my toes with my legs straight.
I can't touch my toes at all. I'm physicly fit, I go to the gym every other day but god damn, I'm not flexible at all
i did more push-ups and had a faster shuttle run than everybody at the PD's physical agility test, but like you, i'm not flexible at all.
Today is my first day in self-sponsored police academy. There were 20 cadets, 17 males and 3 females. I noticed that 3 of the cadets are grossly overweight. What were they thinking?
that if they do get in they'll get free donuts?
Holy shit, I dont think I could reach 18 inches past my toes
