i edited it fast so it's not perfect but what do you guys think? too saturated? colors are good?
Over saturated... and white sky...
here is before pic:
the sky was already white. idk how do u change that then?
Colors look ok to me.......but the foreground looks really soft.....and the trees/leaves almost look OOF to me.
dude can you make it bigger? im having a hard time here
You've got halos around the edges of the bricks.
I could take a better pic with my P&S cam.
you probably could.
i'm still learning lol
recommend any good sites to read about post production?
It's not about post. It's about getting the exposure right in-camera. With a white sky like that, you'll never get any detail back: it's blown out. you have to try to find a nice middle ground when your camera can't do it right. I usually leave my camera set on "highlights" so I can see what's being clipped in my highlights...that whole sky would've been blinking in that shot and I would've adjusted accordingly (raise my f-stop or make my shutter speed faster).
the sky fell
obvious selection tool
Select the sky in background, delete sky
1. in a new layer, keep the same selections
2. find a picture of a pretty sky on google, copy, paste into new layer
3. place new layer UNDER background layer
4. use eraser/clone/etc where necessary to make it look 2 legit 2
5. adjust background and new layer to look proportionate and like they came from the same photo
6. FLatten layers
7. Save as
Try doing something to make the words pop on the brick wall in front.
I think its horrible.
Notice I didnt say profit
Besides, he'd never be able to mash the two together and make them look proper
