In Australia, Britain, etc. we are meant to store our guns, unloaded, ammo, etc. separate.

I suppose a double barrell shotgun may be preferable because it would be quicker to load than a lever shotgun(pumps banned because the politicians watch scary movies)

And in handguns I suppose semi autos with detachable magazines rather than revolvers?

Same with bolt rifles, etc. get a detachable magazine rather than and internal magazine?

can load an SKS or bolt gun with strippers just as quick as one with a mag.

My understanding is you can have AR's in England but w/o the gas system basically making it bolt action. Not sure about Aussieland.

w/o it the AR wont cycle, you'd have to charge it for each shot. Semi's are banned in England.

I'm not sure how handguns work there, I think they're either banned or very hard to get and must be stored at the shooting club you belong to.

what about an ar modified so the bolt locks back after each shot.... that would be "semi" right? But a lot easier than actuating the charging handle each time.

i think britain can own bolt rifles and double shotguns and black powder revolvers

australia can own bolts, pumps, lever rifles as well as lever n double shotguns as well as 10 round magazine semi autos.

38 is usually the limit. But you can own bigger if you do cowboy shooting, etc. if you can get your name on the sign in book 6 times a year or whatever to say you competed that many times.
