The title says it all really, i'm not the skinniest of people and i think just a T-shirt looks like I've made no effort with anything, so any recommendations of stuff to go with skinny jeans?

If you don't feel comfortable then maybe you need to work on your self confidence, then you can be the shit even in Japanese Uggs (Visvim)

But seriously it doesn't have to be a hella tight constricting top that makes your nips visible. You can just have a slim buttondown or a slim polo. If you already have some buttondowns that you like that don't fit the way you would like them to fit then you can just have them taken in at a tailor.

Throw a cardigan over a tshirt.

    Or a slim fit shirt.

    Or a jumper/sweater of sorts. I got a Lyle&Scott vintage v-neck and it's pretty cool.

But sometimes just a basic well fitting tshirt can look really cool anyway...

i agree with all of his suggestions. a basic tshirt can look really good with skinny jeans..it really all depends on the fit and material of it..and quality of construction

a guy can look really put-together and effortlessly stylish with nothing more than a basic white v-neck shirt and some skinny jeans

IMO a guy should always look like they put minimal thought into what they're wearing.

Definitely. Also putting in too much time into trying to make it look effortless is a bit.....:hsugh:

i don't like it when people look like they are trying too hard...when things just look unnatural / forced

it's best when it appears effortless. :hs:
