I want to file away part of my XD's "beaver tail". What tool would be best?

I don't know how much you want to remove but you could try a bastard file or a dremel with some sort of sanding attachment. :dunno:

Check an XD forum to see if anyone else is doing it and if there is an EDU thread about it.

I know people are doing that with their full size M&Ps on the M&P forums.

I saw a picture of someone who did a similiar thing (but not sure which forum I saw it at) and XD is solid at beavertail.

Pretty simple... the gun isn't perfect straight from the factory.
