first time posting here, really excited to get into this sport. I did TKD for 10 years and stopped about 5 years ago. Then boxed US amateur for a year. still train in both a little in my spare time.

started mma at a place here in tampa which does TKD, JJ and some muay thai.

how badly can I expect this to kick my ass? conditioning is fair

when i first started bjj conditioning was hard and i got into better shape

then i started at a better school and we did bodyweight carrying type warmup shit and i felt like a conditioning scrub all over again, that shit was beyond hard.

    ha, alright thx.

$135/mo for unlimited classes ($120 if its a year). http://www.gracietampa.net/index_files/Page1348.htm

Thats the schedule. I could take up to 18 classes a week IF I wanted to.

$135 sound fair for a guy/school with their credentials?

Maybe a little steep, but take what you can get.

Thats what I figured but they have open gym all day when there arent classes and ppl are always there im told (members).

The other place WCMA I think might be more of a dive than an established studio like Gracie.....just speculation.

ill give it a shot, they said I get a full week of all 25 classes for free so Im going to try that starting with BJJ tonight then striking right after
